The Capital City of Bratislava, the General Investor of Bratislava and the Metropolitan Institute Bratislava (MIB) jointly announced an architectural competition for a residential building on Terchovská Street in Ružinov, in which 76 urban and architectural designs were accepted.
The expert jury selected the project by The Büro studio. The winning design includes 85 new rental apartments for an estimated 266 residents, built on previously unused city land.
The urban rental housing project on Terchovská Street will bring, in addition to rental apartments, civic amenities and permeable semi-public spaces, which will connect to similar spaces between panel apartment buildings on the southeast side of Banšelová Street. The entrance to the underground garage is located on Banšelová Street, which will relieve dynamic traffic on Terchovská Street.
The construction of the apartment building will include one parking space for each new apartment. At the same time, the construction of the new rental house will provide more than 30 parking spaces for people living in the area.
